Head’s up!

So, today marks the start of the recording sessions for our new album. And, as the title of this post suggests, we have decided to stick with our original working title for the album – The End of Infinity.

Over the next couple of weeks we will be putting down the initial drum layers, essentially to get the outline timing for the tracks. Keeping the Raving man company in the studio during this time will be myself and Randy. We’ll weave in some Bass lines to help with the timing, and Randy wants to lay down a couple of vocal tracks as well. We have some grey areas on a few of the tracks, in that we are not 100% nailed down on the pace of them, so we’ll be experimenting along the way.

Leroy, Dave and Nancy will be landing at the studio early in June.

I wish that Jesus was going to be joining us, but I totally respect his decision to leave. It is a shame as this will be the first time without him in almost a decade. But, on a bright note, at least we have the rock-chick herself Nancy involved to keep us all in order. It is going to be fun. Hard work, yes, but fun as well.
